She was predeceased by: her siblings, Robert and Marjorie. She is survived by: her husband Donald Hurren; and her children, Brenda Hall (Mark), Lynda, Pam Rees (Jeff), Julie Choppick (Rick), Lori, Jay, Jeff (Karlee), Troy, Megan, Robyn, Bradley, Robert, Jessica, Aidan, Rhyanna and Wesley.

The family would appreciate any donations in Elly's memory to the Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills (CASHH) in lieu of flowers.
