It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen Fitzgibbon (Georgetown, Ontario), born in Coniston, Ontario, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her former husband Alex Pearson; her husband John FitzGibbon; her daughter Patricia Laxton (Howard); her grandchildren, Laurel Crawford (Angus), Alexandra Scott, David Laxton (Marina), Caroline Laxton and Stephanie Walker (Jordan); and her great grandchildren, Candace, Jack Crawford, Kali, Izzy Walker and Alexandra Laxton (Sachy).
They took such good care of her in her final years and especially kept her safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In memory of Doreen, donations to The Bennett Centre in Georgetown would be most appreciated.
