With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cornelius Joseph O'Connell in Georgetown, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anna; and his siblings, John, Frank, Michael, Chris, Tim and Kathleen.
He is survived by: his sons, Maurice (Andrea) and Cornelius (Nancy); his grandchildren, Keiran, Liam, Aisling, Colleen and Devlin; his great grandchild Ivy; and his siblings, Mary, Bridgit, Margaret, Stacia and Noramae.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel (2058 Kipling Ave, Toronto, ON M9W4J9). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Benedict Church (2194 Kipling Ave, Toronto, ON M9W4K9). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 ON-27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5).
