She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon; her daughter Anita; her parent Howard Wager; and her brothers, Don Wager, Earl Wager, Jack Wager (Hazel), Arthur Wager (Mona) and Arnold Wager (Norma).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Sinnesael (Ron) of Vanessa and Cameron Hollard of Garson; her grandchildren, Don Cunningham (Gen Berube) of Paris, Terry Stratford (Collin) and Kristy Hollard of North Bay; her great grandchildren, Evan Cunningham, Julia Cunningham, Zach Roloson, Ethan, Lauren, Liam Stratford and Brooklyn Seguin; her parent Minnie Wager; her sister Grace White (Chester); and her sister-in-law Frances Hollard (Wilf). She is also survived by aunt who will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews as well as other extended family members, neighbours and friends.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to donate in memory of Verna are asked to consider the Adult Day Program via Haldimand-Norfolk Senior Supports Services (a program that Verna attended three times a week and loved every minute of her time there) or the Big Dreams, Little Dreams fund via the Haldimand and Norfolk Children's Aid Society in keeping with Verna's love of children and her encouragement of those in her life to follow their hopes and dreams.
