He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Drake and Earl Drake of Peter's Harbour; and his sisters, Irene Cairns (Roy), Vera Ward (Vic), Ruth Stewart (Cecil) and Florence Heyden (Mike).
He is survived by: his spouse Claire; his sons, Gary Drake, Brian Drake (Sophie) and David Drake (Karen); his grandchildren, Darra Bonden (Chris), Jessica Drake (Bobby Le Bouthillier), Evan Drake (Ashley), Clayton Drake, Cameron Drake (Cortney), Carter Drake (Haley), Cassandra Drake and Alanna Drake; and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Parker, Jackson, Owen, Logan, Bennett, Maggie, Audrey and Olivia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
