He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Frederik Hinds and Althea Ann Hinds (Willman) of Garson; and his siblings, Donald Hinds (Elizabeth), Cecil Hinds (Helen), Hearley Hinds (Margo), Iona Lobsinger (John) and Priscilla Hinds.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Hinds (Reed); his children, Doug Hinds (Karen) of Fairbank Lake, Keith Hinds (Trudy) of Skead, Kathrine Gleisner (Wade) of Redcliff Alt and Tim Hinds (Jennifer) of Hanmer; his grandchildren, Kimberly Flarrow of Ottawa, Kelly Franklin (John) of Niagara Falls, Kara Lepine of London, Kenny Hinds of Sudbury, Kevin Hinds of Sudbury, Sam Hinds of Hanmer, Colton Hinds of Revelstoke, BC and Craig Gleisner of Redcliff Alt; and his brothers, Charlie Hinds (Bonnie) of Sudbury and Allen (Vickie) of Chemanus, BC.. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
