He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Desbiens and Lorna Desbiens; his siblings, Aurel (Connie), Lucille (Bob Quilty) and Suzanne Belleau (Jean); his sister-in-law Karen Armstrong; and his mother-in-law Marion Armstrong (late Jim).
