He was predeceased by: his wife Mari; his parents, Fred Desjardins and Martha Desjardins; his siblings-in-law, Juanita and Clarence Clark; and his sisters, Doris Laking (Jack) and Elaine Mazzuca (Mario).

He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn (Stephen Abma) and Dina Desjardins (Frank Ring); his grandchildren, Kaitlin (Patrick), Hayley, Jack and Frances; and his sister Myrna Regimbal (Gerry). He is also survived by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
