He was predeceased by: his wife Viola Ruth (Gunnlaugson); his son Barney; and his siblings, Wilfred (Edna), Ernest (Bernice), Edith (Jack), Ralph (Hazel), Russell, Irene (Walter) and Pearl (Oliver).
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Crowe (Elliott Cohen), Mary Dickson (Doug Jones) and Gordon (Ginny); his grandchildren, Jeff (Cathie), Richard (Aimee), Julie (James), Ross (Samantha), Adam (Melanie) and Nicole (Aaron); his brother Stuart (late Beth); and his siblings-in-law, Grace Leakey, Edith Ridsdale, Joan Gunnlaugson and Walter Gunnlaugson.
As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Grace United Church or to Willowbank cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
