He was predeceased by: his son Randy Simpson; and his parents, Frank Simpson and Argen Simpson (Presley). He is survived by: his wife Glenna Simpson (Bradley); his daughters, Karen Dennison of Provost and Alberta; his grandchildren, Jamie Dennison and Ryan West; his great grandchildren, Rowyne and River West; and his friend Lisa Johnston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In memory of Thom donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

“It was with great sadness that I heard of Tom's passing. His son Randy was my best friend for years and I have many memories of hanging out at Tom and Glenda's house (mostly the garage) and tinkering on one Ford Ranger or another. To Tom's family, I extend my sincerest condolences and know you are all in my thoughts.”
