He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Garrah; his son Steven Knapton; and his siblings, William, Bob Knapton and Phyllis Lusk.
He is survived by: his children, Jim (Dawn), Bruce (Sandy), Donna Wright, Chris (Barb) and Cheryl Knapton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
