He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gurney and Barbara Gurney; and his brother Christian Gurney. He is survived by: his close friend Vivian Lane; his children, Adrian Gurney and Nina Ramirez (Hamilton); his grandson Ryan Tranter-Ramirez; his sister Gretchen Bambrick (Terry); his nieces and nephews, Robin Gurney (David Campbell) and Katherine Gurney (Andre Nowakowski); and also, Carla, Dana (Mike), Amy (Brady) and Sarah Rose (Chris).
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, everyone must wear a mask indoors.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Cancer Society and the Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
