He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Allan; his parents, Lawrence Wheeler and Catherine Wheeler; and his siblings, Alex Wheeler (Mary), Earle Wheeler (Edith) and Gertrude.

He is survived by: his children, Gail Kennedy (Calgary) and Holly Bishop (Ed) of Gananoque; his grandson Dustin Kennedy (Dallas); and his great grandchild Davinia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Gananoque Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
