He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Walker and Ena Walker of Montreal; his brothers, Robert Walker and Howard Walker; and his stepsiblings, Victor and Norma Cormier.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons, Gerald Walker and Richard Walker; his grandchildren, Forrest, Dana and Samatha; and his great grandchildren, Max, Colten, Alexia and Jaime.
