He was predeceased by: his spouse Ruth Griffin; his sisters, Dorothy Hewson, Nena Amos and Margaret Griffin; and his parents, William Griffin and Freda Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Barb), Connie (Darcy) and Nancy (Barb); his grandchildren, Tim, Roy, Lisa, Brian and Matthew; and his siblings, Barbara Box, Eileen Poole and Heather Tennant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
