He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley; and his siblings, Hugh, Stan, Gordon, John Heasler and Winona Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Piva (Elio), Bernie Jr. and Sharol Bradley (Gary); his grandchildren, Cassandra Drady, Jacqueline Watson (Desmond) and Dominic Piva (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Chloe, Jacob, Delilah, Sydnee, Breelynn and Quinton; and his brother Keith Heasler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or to Perley Health would be appreciated by the family.
