He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Tackaberry and Ella Tackaberry; and his siblings, Malcom and Betty Menczel. He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Steeles and Judith Anne (late Ron Holsgrove); his children, Eric (late Donna Binkey), Linda (Don Little) and Beth (Dagg Abrams); and his grandchildren, Laura (Darcy), Sarah (Ben), Krista (Brad), Nicole (Siyath), Amber (Nick), Amy (Adam Currie), Adam and Andrew (Kyla).
