With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Basil Gavin (Gananoque, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Basil Gavin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edith Gavin, Irene Fraser (Bob), Nora Holly (Basil), Leon Gavin (Irene) and Joseph Gavin SJ.
He is survived by: his wife Sally (Markell); his children, Arline Dickinson (Rob) and Mark Gavin (Christina); his grandchildren, Erika, Cassidy, Mason, Hayden, Makayla and Ashton; and his sister Veronica Holly (late Greg). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre) or to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
