He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrard Hoftyzer and Aleida Hoftyzer; and his sister Johanna Scott (late Orvis). He is survived by: his siblings, Dora DeBoer (Hilbert) of Trenton, Alida Dreise (Albert) of St. George, Bert Hoftyzer (Margaret) of Belleville, Ralph Hoftyzer (Elly) of Drayton, Bill Hoftyzer of Foxboro, Gerard Hoftyzer (Lilly) of Frankford and Albert Hoftyzer (Tina) of Frankford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
