With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sybil Verna Sletmoen (Fort Frances, Ontario), born in Rainy River, Ontario, who passed away on May 29, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Johnson and Ivy Johnson; her husband Edwin Sletmoen; her foster sister Shirley Fisher; her parents-in-law, Ole and Margaret Sletmoen; and her siblings-in-law, Ivar Sletmoen and Alma Korb.
She is survived by: her sons, Darrel (Wilma), Dwayne (Cindy Cameron) and Mark (Aya); her grandchildren, Jennifer Jurcevic (Mike), Joe Sletmoen (Melissa), Paula Sletmoen, Christina Campagna, Ben Sletmoen (Chelsey Ogden), Laura Sletmoen, Christain Sletmoen (Lora Ngem) and John Sletmoen; and her brother-in-law Robert Sletmoen (Linda). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
