Laura Dillon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Dillon (Fort Frances, Ontario), born in Sheho, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 26, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smits and Anna Smits; her husband Jack; her siblings, John, Laurent, Harry Smits and Jeanne Belanger; and her parents-in-law, Doris Smits, Lorraine Smits, Vic Belanger, Ike Balcewich, Ross Anderson and Cliff Cunningham.

She is survived by: her children, Anne Dillon of Fort Frances and Andrew Dillon (Maureen) of Thunder Bay; her grandchildren, Kelsey-Rose Dillon, Michael and Amy Dillon; her siblings, Marie Cunningham, Francise Anderson, Anna Busch (Lyle), Leona Rucker (Gerald), José Balcewich and Edith Funk (Kenneth); and her sister-in-law Juliette Smits. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
