He is survived by: his significant other Denise Hrymak; his child Fort Frances; his mother Ann Onichuk; his children, Moreta (Geoff Handley), Carramaena, Thomas, Joseph and Devlin; his sisters, Toni Onichuk, Jeanie Onichuk and Sandy Mahon; and his grandsons, Jaxon, Wyatt, Gord McQuarrie and Eric Onichuk. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, in laws, nieces, nephews and of course, his many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you send.

We all sat down for a beer and did some catching up. Through FB Dan and I got to know each other better and you, the kids. I came to know Dan as a warm, generous, funny, always on the go, loving man.
