He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Dillon and Helen Dillon; his siblings, Brendan Dillon and Angela (Maurice LaForest); his sister-in-law Rae Dillon; and his nephew Paul LaForest.

He is survived by: his wife Laura of Atikokan, ON; his children, Anne Dillon of Fort Frances, ON and Andrew Dillon (Maureen) of Thunder Bay, ON; his grandchildren, Kelsey-Rose Dillon of Fort Frances, ON, Michael Dillon and Amy Dillon of Thunder Bay, ON; his siblings, Louis Dillon of Burnaby, BC and Agnes (Louis Fossesca) of Youngstown; and his grandchild Kelsey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
