He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine McLean (Halgren) and Kenneth Charles McLean. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie McLean (Jack Trentman), Tanya McLean and James McLean; his grandson Oliver Trentman; and his sister Sandra Sloat (McLean).
