George Raso Obituary
We bid farewell to George Raso (Fort Erie, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 7, 2025. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact George had on those he encountered along his journey. Though George may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his wife Ilona; his son Joseph (Lorraine); his grandchildren, Claire and Sophie; his brother Gabriel; and his nieces and nephews, Frank (Anne), John, Helen (Randy) and Elizabeth.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Black Creek Community Association (2959 Baker Rd, Stevensville, ON L0S1S0).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The UN Refugee Agency, Diabetes Canada, Alzheimer Society of Canada, and Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, and would be appreciated by his family.
