He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Elly and Francis Elly; the mother of his children Yvonne Elly; and his son Robert Elly. He is survived by: his wife Karen Elly (Millar); his children, Patricia Heckman (Craig), Kenneth Elly (Cheryl), Becci Kostuk (Craig Newell), Kathy Arbic (Todd Marr) and Bradley Arbic (Jen Teal); his grandchildren, Shawn Heckman (Allison), Dan Heckman (Bonnie), Brian Heckman, Whitney Anne Arbic (Cory Willett), Adryanna Kostuk (Ken Reichelt), Mason, Addison, Delilah Arbic, Paige, Reagan Elly, Alicia Elly and Victoria Smith (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Wesley, Emmett Heckman, Taelynn, Trinity Heckman, Lucas, Frankie Elly and Arabella Smith; his niece June Recchia (John); his great-niece Alyssa; and his great-nephew Jason.
