He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; and his parents, Charles and Julia. He is survived by: his children, Julia Storring (Dave), Janet Smith (Ray), Doug Hancock (Debrah) and Scott Hancock. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and his great great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benner Funeral Services (1105 Benner Ave, Fort Erie, ON L2A4N8). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Benners Friday January.
