He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ashmore and Isobel Ashmore; his siblings, Barbara Elliot (Bruce) and Tom Ashmore (Michele); and his nephew Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Jill Ashmore; his daughters, Jane Watson (Justin) and Laura (Jane); his grandchildren, Ryan, Shelby, Morgan, Hailey, Charlotte and Rachel; his siblings, Helen Gibson (Gary) and Bob Ashmore (Lorna); his nieces and nephews, Susan (Allan), Kevin (Ann), Brenda, Robyn (Vince), Glen (Donna), Brian (Tina), Robert, Matthew and Grant (Cala); his uncle Doug'; his friend Fort Erie; and his niece Suzy. He is also survived by family, friends.
