He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Prong (Devine); his children, Ang Charrette and Steve; and his parents, Mabel Prong (Fenn) and Russell Prong.

He is survived by: his sons, Greg Prong (Tamasine), Doug Prong (Tisha) and Mike Charrette (Cindy Lane); his daughter-in-law Kerri Prong; his parents-in-law, Phyllis, Jim Ketchabaw, Kathy, Lee Ketchabaw, Marilyn Devine, Bonnie Devine and Elizabeth Devine; his siblings, Doreen Baldwin (Ron), Wilf Prong (late Gina Prong) and Billy; and his parents-in-law, Ray, Viola Devine, Patricia Gervais (Laurent), Mike Devine (Shirl), Jeannine Campbell (Fred), Philip, Linda Devine, Terry Devine and Dan Devine.
