He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; and his parents, Allan Metcalfe and Alice Metcalfe. He is survived by: his children, Shelley (Stephen Nantes), London, Randy (Kathy Behrendt) and Cynthia Heisler (Daniel) of Cultus Lake, B. C; his grandchildren, Julia Nantes (Brent Dawe), Stephanie Nantes (Steven Long), Ainsley McCarthy (Alex), Reid Nantes (Hannah Scott), Laura Nolan (Alex), Megan Escobar (Alé), Ashley Heisler (Cameron Longfellow) and Brydan Heisler; his great grandchildren, Everly, Siobhan, Rosamonde and Sydney; his sibling Glenn (Skip); his siblings-in-law, Mary Ellen, Anderson, Nancy, Paul, Betty Anderson, Steve and Pat Schultz; and his caregiver Waterloo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Dennings Funeral Home (9 James St S, Forest, ON N0N 1J0).
