He was predeceased by: his wife Susanne Underhill; his parents, Lenora Underhill and Gordon Underhill; his parents-in-law, Agnes and Karl John; his son Terry Underhill; and his son-in-law Perry Knee.

He is survived by: his children, Marion (Les Sherwood), Nina Knee, Tony Underhill and Dianne Underhill; and his grandchildren, Shannon, Terry, Shawn, Charlsey, Crystal, Ian, Ryan, Jenn, Justin, Rio, Michelle, Kristian, Josie, Matthew, Ashley, Mack, Hailey and Kane. He is also survived by his 9 great-grandchildren.
