Lois Coates Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Coates (Forest, Ontario), who passed away on February 2, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Lois find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald Coates; her sons, Christopher (Sylvie Barrette) and Curtis (Jody Thomas); her grandchildren, Samantha (Bryant Shapiro), Andrew (Shannon Sterling) and Sarah (Cassandra Jarcew); her sister Sandra Davies (Don Ellis); and her brothers-in-law, Robert Coates (late Elva), Paul Coates (Therese) and Kenneth Coates (Betty Coates). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 176 (58 Albert St, Forest, ON N0N1J0).

In lieu of flowers, donations to North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary or Alzheimer's Society of Sarnia-Lambton would be appreciated by the family.
