She was predeceased by: her husband Norbert Francis McGrath; her grandparents, Sylvia, Charles Miller, Sam and Lillie Hird; her father Donald Hird; her stepfather John Sherwood Gooding; her brother Ronald Hird; her mother LaVona Gooding; and her nephew Jonathan Gooding.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lavern Gooding, Alan Gooding, Carl Gooding (Colleen) and Elaine Bechthold. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St S, Kitchener, ON N2E2X5). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
