It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry John Devet (Forest, Ontario), who passed away on February 22, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Casey Devet and Mary Devet; his father-in-law Martin; his son Jesse; his brother John Devet; and his brother-in-law Martin Verberk.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Devet (Van Kessel); his children, Brian Devet (Rachel), Casey Devet (Laura), Victoria Wells (Brendan) and Martina Stevens (Michael); his grandchildren, Hannah, Theo, Bryan, John, Alice and Paige; his siblings, Lucy Hendrikx (Louis), Joanne Slaats (Harry), Frank Devet (Elsie), Alda Bongers (Jerry) and Nancy Verberk; his mother-in-law Minnie Van Kessel; and his siblings-in-law, Maria Althuizen (Ties), Tony Van Kessel, Nancy Oomen (Chris), Peter Van Kessel (Melanie) and Riekie Soetemans (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
