She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Peter Cowen; her children, Monique, Brian Goodfellow, Phil and Penny Mousseau; her stepchildren, Steven and Cathy Cowen; her grandchildren, Melissa, Justyn, Stephanie and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Gracelyn, Parker and Jordan; and her sister Ethel Strandquist of Edmonton.
