She was predeceased by: her husband Ivan Shipley; her son Ron Shipley (Sharon); her parents, Delmer Smith and Eva Smith; and her sisters, Maxine McMullen and Donna Doan.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Kingdon (Doug), Kevin Shipley (Wanda) and Ian Shipley (Barb); and her sister Delores Gilliard.
