He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn (Lucas); his brother Blake Armitage; and his pet Jiggs. He is survived by: his wife Donna Armitage; his daughters, Connie Furtney (Doug), Sue Hodgins (Don) and Cindy MacKinlay-Hunter (Dale); his siblings, Mary Coulbeck (Carl) and Garry Armitage (Pat); his sisters-in-law, Norma Vance and Joan Price; and also, Mark and Jim Armitage. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Denning's of Forest (9 James St S, Forest, ON N0N 1J0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest United Church (21 James St N, Forest, ON N0N1J0). A reception was held on Thursday, January 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
