She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Johnstone and Lilly Johnstone (Mawdsley); her spouse Gilchrist Roy Ayers; her son Roy (Pam) of Echo Bay; her sibling Harvie; and her brother-in-law Albert Ayers.
She is survived by: her children, Marion Brown (late Gerry) of Orillia, Lorna Sommers (Ron) of Oro-Medonte, Helen VanderWelle (Abe) of Parry Sound, Norma Harvie (late Randy) of Forest Home and Margaret Conway (Glen) of Forest Home; her siblings, Norman Johnstone (Helen) of Rochester, N. Y., Joyce South (late Larry) of Kingston, ON., Lorna, Helen, Mervyn and Alan; and her siblings-in-law, Dora Hawke, Harry, Jack, Joseph, Ernest and Elmer. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.
