With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Charles Chaffe (Forest, Ontario), who passed away on December 3, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Wayne; his parents, Ernie Chaffe and Dorothy Dellow (Elmer); and his sister Bernice Rotteau (Sam). He is survived by: his siblings, George (Ruth Chaffe) and Linda (Chuck Matheson); his nieces and nephews, Carman Martin (Bonnie), Dave Martin (Janie), Tammy Marrison (Brian), Paul Matheson, Charlene Wilcox (Chad) and Cathy Scott (Brent); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Stacey Gracey (Tyler), Amanda Hulley (Greg), Tim Martin (Melissa), Greg Martin (Tina), Tavis, Lindi Marrison, Maeve, Max Matheson, Austin, Sydney, Turner Wilcox and Gavin Scott; and also, Madison, Harper, MacKenzie, Alli Martin, Hudson Gracey, Grayson, Connor Hulley, Dylan Martin, Cole and Olivia.

Memorial donations can be made to the Forest Legion or to the North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary.

Earl's passion to support minor hockey and the Forest community was unwavering until he was unable to continue due to health. All of us who were coached by Earl in Juvenile hockey early 80's still share stories about those great times. His legacy with minor hockey and Forest will continue. Rest well Earl.
