She was predeceased by: her spouse Adrian Rutten; and her sister Nellie. She is survived by: her children, Jenny Vermeiren (Bill), Jackie Baxter (Al), Nellie Haan (Jack), Frank Rutten and John Rutten (Annie); her siblings, Hank Van Gorp (Anna) and Sjan Brokx; and her sister-in-law Dinny Van Gorp. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
