She was predeceased by: her husband Terrance Rowsell; and her siblings, Iris, Irene, Clifford, Clarence and Kenny.

She is survived by: her child Kathi Austin; her grandsons, Troy Austin and Trevor Austin; her great grandchildren, Lily and Olivia; and her sister Bernice Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
