She is survived by: her grandchildren, Paige Garcia (Nestor Garcia), Sheridan Gaboury and Lola Gaboury; her nieces, Buffy Kerr and Virginia Deloughery; her great grandchild Hidan Garcia; and her siblings-in-law, Rick Gaboury (Donna), MaryAnn Birchard (Tom) and Jeff Gaboury.

“Dear Tammy and Family, I met Janette in the early 1980's when taking my class to the SPCA for a tour and a class fundraiser donation. She was striking with her black hair and shy smile as she brought us in to meet the animals. Years later I visited her at the shelter where she taught me how to administer the needles to the cats at the Cat Adoption Centre. She was so gentle with them and kind to me. Nancy and I would like to send our sincerest sympathy to you and your family. Nancy & Marilyn”
