He was predeceased by: his close friend Linda Dayboll. He is survived by: his children, Gordon Jr., Robert (Patricia Evangelista) and Elizabeth (Allan Muir); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Joshua, Jordayn and Bruce; his stepgrandchild Brooke; and his pet Gigi.

As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Welland Humane Society.
