He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Peterson (Barnhill); his children, Merry Peterson and Fred Peterson; his sisters, Ruby Shirton (late Glenn), Shirley Corbaley (late Von) and Nancy (Gene Vadnais); and his nieces and nephews, Donna, Eileen, David, Jeanette, Christine, Wendy, Pamela, Tim, Gene Jr., Raymond, Sarah, James, Rachel, Ben and Jacob.
In keeping with the covid regulations still in place, masks are to be worn.
Donations in memory can be made to Freedom In Christ Church (Welland) or McMaster's Children's Hospital.
