He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard and Kay; and his sister Laraine. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Clarkson (Shane) and Keith Saxon; his grandchildren, Mikellie and Maddy Clarkson; and his siblings, Merle Gatenby (Phil), Greg Saxon (Janet) and Giles Saxon.

Memorial donations may be made to Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 4 in Welland.
