She was predeceased by: her brothers, Bobby and Jack Norton; and her parents, Margaret Norton-Young and George Norton. She is survived by: her close friend Bill Stewart; her child Chris DiMarco-McGeorge (Jeremy); her brother Gage "Tary" Norton (Olga); her pets, Zen and Zella; and also Al McGeorge.

As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Last Chance Horse and Pony Rescue and to the Welland Humane Society.
