He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Haymes and Dora Haymes; his siblings, Elsie, Vera, Cecil and Norman; and his nephews, Mark Cummins, Brian Kidd and Ronnie Haymes.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Lisa Connors (Mike), Lonnie Kish (Karen), Les Kish (Tanis) and Shyainne Barichello; and his siblings, Vada Kidd, Iris (late Al Feor), Mona (late Allen Finlayson), Lois Cummins (Rick), Doug (Chris), Ronnie (Helen) and Norma Tirone.
