He is survived by: his wife Jantina; his children, Herman (Tinn), Connie Bering (Al), Abby Curry (Dave) and Peggy Purser (Terry Whittaker); his grandchildren, Jenn Young (Sean), Mike Bering (Courtney) and Jesse Purser; and his great grandchild Sam Young.
