He was predeceased by: his wife Janice; his parents, William Small and Eva Small; and his brothers, Ernest and Allan.

He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Hussey (Adam) and Kevin (JoHannah) of Formosa; his grandchildren, Piper, Jace, Emmie, Julliet and Marlie; and his sister Pearle Dunn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Diabetes Society would be greatly appreciated.
