He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Porter and Norma Porter; his siblings, Bob, Carl and Anne Somerville; and his friend Gary Barnes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Glenda Chappelle (Blake) of North Bay, Ken (Mary) of Parry Sound and Leo of Calgary, AB; his cousin Jim; his parents-in-law, George and Beryl Atchison of Caledon East; and his siblings-in-law, Keri Porter (Grant) of Orangeville, Vicki Kidd (John) of Markdale and Craig Atchison (Toronto). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Vic's favourite charity, the War Amps Foundation (which can be made through their website https://www.waramps.ca) would be gratefully appreciated.
